Volcano: Print Faster, Stronger, Bigger

Much like the V6, Volcano is fully compatible with the E3D ecosystem and offers an assortment of different nozzle sizes. Users can print thick, strong layers with a 1.2mm nozzle or for higher precision prints opt for a 0.4mm nozzle.

Faster

Thanks to its larger melt zone, Volcano enables users to print higher and wider tracks which results in dramatically reduced print times.

Stronger

In addition to reduced print time, the thick tracks printed by Volcano have greater interlayer adhesion and bond to one another with greatly improved strength. Parts printed are extremely strong, less brittle and feel much more sturdy than standard prints.

Bigger

The size of printers is increasing and we now see machines that have the ability to create huge objects that push the limits of what we can print. However, printing these huge parts is incredibly slow and can take days which is simply impractical in many cases. The Volcano makes printing these objects much more efficient and can reduce print times by more than half.
