Incredibly wear resistant, hardened steel nozzle for printing abrasive materials without wear.
If you 3D print with carbon fibre, filled PLA, or glow-in-the-dark filament, then this is the nozzle you need! Carbon filled filaments cause rapid and significant damage to standard nozzles. We’ve developed these incredibly wear-resistant nozzles to deal with the toughest filaments on the market.

2 | 0.35mm |
3 | 0.40mm |

Incredibly wear resistant, hardened steel nozzle for printing abrasive materials without wear.
If you print carbon fibre filled, or other abrasive materials this is the nozzle you need! Carbon filled filaments will cause rapid and significant damage to standard nozzles. Don’t fear however! We’ve developed these new, incredibly wear-resistant nozzles that basically eliminate wear. A standard E3D-v6 Brass nozzle will be significantly worn by printing just 250g of carbon fibre material, that means you could get through 3 nozzles with a single spool of material! However these new nozzles will not wear out, even in extended use with very abrasive materials. You can read more about it in our Blog Post.
We took our standard nozzle design, and applied some material science. By changing from brass to a carefully selected steel, and then post-processing that steel nozzle with a combination of thermal and chemical treatments we can create an extremely hard and wear resistant nozzle.
Paying a little extra for a hardened, wear-resistant nozzle makes both practical and economic sense. By the time you’ve printed a single spool of abrasive filament you’re saving money. It also saves a lot of time as you won’t be constantly replacing worn out nozzles. Furthermore you’ll be future-proofed for upcoming materials, we think these nozzles should be able to handle just about anything the material manufacturers think of next.
Because of the thermal and chemical treatment applied to the nozzle they do have a bit of a dark, sometimes uneven looking coloration and surface finish, and there can be a small amount of residue on the nozzles despite our final cleaning process. The coloration variance is normal and doesn’t affect function, any residue left on the nozzle will quickly be flushed in the first few millimetres of extrusion, especially if you flush it out with an abrasive filled material!
All nozzles in the series are individually identifiable with markings on the flats of the hex head making them even more convenient to work with. See the table below for more information on what these markings mean:
# Marks | Nozzle Size |
0 | 0.25mm |
1 | 0.30mm |
2 | 0.35mm |
3 | 0.40mm |
6* | 0.50mm |
4 | 0.60mm |
5 | 0.80mm |

Eins A - Preis etwas hoch
Super Düsen. Im Gegensatz zu den normalen Düsen wirklich sehr Abnutzungsresistent. Farbe bei mir relativ Dunkel gewesen, aber Drucker fällt es weniger auf.
Druckbild 1A, bisher knapp 1000m Filament durchgelaufen ohne das was passiert.
28€ ist halt schon ne Ansage.
Problemlos
