E3D V6 1.75mm Brass Nozzles
Key Features Input diameter: 1.75mmAnti-ooze internal geometryGreat for everyday printing with PLA, PETG, ABSM6 thread compatible with a wide range of printers Description V6 nozzles are designed for use with the E3D V6 heater block. Modify your HotEnd to print with small nozzle orifices to achieve fine details or larger nozzle orifice sizes for more substantial, stronger 3D prints. 1.75mm Brass V6 nozzles are fully compatible with the Prusa 3D printers. Brass nozzles, featuring E3D’s signature internal geometry, have optimal thermal properties for everyday printing, providing smooth layers for standard non-abrasive applications. Rated to a max temperature of 300°C. Documentation V6 Nozzle Datasheet Printer Compatibility Prusa MK3Prusa MK2Prusa Mini
E3D V6 Nozzle X Nozzles 1.75mm
Description The Nozzle X is our ‘One to rule them all’ nozzle, made from a special alloy of tool steel we have been able to create a nozzle that is immensely hard, but also maintains its hardness to high temperatures without softening. We have also added a layer of hard, slick nickel plating which provides a fantastic balance of cost and wear resistance. The cherry on the top? Our WS2 ‘polyphobic’ nano coating, no longer will you find hot molten polymers sticking to your nozzle. Whilst our hardened steel nozzles are ideal for printing abrasive filaments such as ones loaded with Carbon Fibre, the extreme temperatures can cause the steel to temper and soften, ultimately reducing its abrasion resistance. And then there's our plated copper nozzles, able to cope easily with these immense temperatures but lacking the abrasion resistance required to resist Carbon Fibre. This is where the Nozzle X comes in, a nozzle able to withstand crazy temperatures without softening. By going with a one-piece all-machined construction we were able to use our existing manufacturing processes to create our carefully tuned internal geometry, which provides fantastic flow response and keep the exact same geometry and compatibility as the rest of the E3D ecosystem. Benefits of our WS2 ‘polyphobic’ nano-coating: ● Less build-up, particularly of sticky and filled materials to the nozzle cone ● Improved first layer reliability; the slick coating has a reduced tendency to ‘drag’ material, particularly at sharp corners where tracks can peel up ● Slicker, smooth top solid layers with a glassy-like finish as a result of the smooth laydown of material ● Easier nozzle cleaning: what little material does adhere is easily wiped away with a paper towel, leaving a very clean nozzle. E3D V6 ObXidian Nozzles 1.75mm
Description V6 nozzles are designed for use with the E3D V6 heater block. Modify your HotEnd to print with small nozzle orifices to achieve fine details or larger nozzle orifice sizes for more substantial, stronger 3D prints. 1.75mm Brass V6 nozzles are fully compatible with the Prusa 3D printers. With a wear resistance that is orders of magnitude higher than any other E3D nozzle, ObXidian is really hard. Several orders of magnitude harder than Nozzle X and any other generic hardened steel nozzle. This is achieved by pairing a tool steel insert with our new E3DLC™ coating. This specially formulated coating also embeds non-stick properties into the Nozzle itself. Meaning considerably less plastic build-up around the Nozzle. Please note: ObXidian™ coated nozzles are exceptionally wear resistant compared to other products on the market and significantly outperform other hardened nozzles. Improvements in ‘exotic’ engineering filaments mean that some new materials which include aggressive fillers, including but not limited to Polymaker’s Fiberon range (PA612-CF, PA6-CF, PA6-GF and PA12-CF), can cause significant wear on even ObXidian nozzles. E3D is actively developing even more specialist solutions for these materials. In the meantime please be aware that even the rainbows and unicorns in your ObXidian nozzle are not everlasting under extreme material conditions. Some filled materials contain particles that are close to, if not larger than, some of the smaller industry standard nozzle sizes, including up to 0.4mm. Attempting to print such materials through these nozzle sizes significantly increases the risk a jam. Please check your filament manufacturer’s datasheet for recommended minimum nozzle orifice diameter to ensure that the nozzle/hotend you choose is suitable for your use case. E3D V6 Plated Copper Nozzles 1.75mm
Description V6 nozzles are designed for use with the E3D V6 heater block. Modify your HotEnd to print with small nozzle orifices to achieve fine details or larger nozzle orifice sizes for more substantial, stronger 3D prints. Our unique nickel-plated copper nozzles are suitable for high-temperature, non-abrasive applications. The nickel plating provides a reduced-stick surface, ideal for temperatures that are too hot for a silicone sock—rated to a maximum temperature of 500°C.
