GeckoTek Magnetic Base System provides the best total 3D printing experience by allowing for quick and easy plate removal and attachment. The precision machined magnetic base integrates seamlessly with your 3D printer to keep the Build Plate flat and secured.
Choose your printer, then select the GeckoTek Products that best fit your needs. Magnetic Bases are available for both Ultimaker models. Our RT plates are available for the Ultimaker 1 and our HT and NY plates are available for the Ultimaker 2.
*** The Ultimaker 2 Magnetic Base will not work as is with the Ultimaker 2+ and Extended. It will only work if the press fit bolts are removed from the stock bed heater. Do not attempt unless you know what you are doing.***
GeckoTek Build Plates are designed to be used with a GeckoTek Magnetic Base, but you can use binder clips or tape (NOT INCLUDED) to secure it down to the stock build surface.
The Ultimaker 1 and Ultimaker 2 Magnetic Bases replace the stock build platform and come with all the hardware required for installation. It re-uses some of the original hardware, including springs and thumb nuts. More detailed installation instructions will be available soon.

Gute Lösung, Haftung bei ABS enorm -fast zu viel
Das Handling ist ideal, die Oberfläche des gedruckten Objektes gut, das Ablösen von der Druckplatte schwierig aber möglich, weil die Haftung enorm stark ist. Es bleibt meist ein weisser Schleier am Druckobjekt der aber bei Hitze verschwindet (Heißluftfön). Andere Druckplatten sind hier weniger problematisch, bieten aber nicht dieses gute Handling (heraus nehmen) und auch nicht diese extreme Haftung. Wer letztere benötigt, ist gut damit beraten. Verzugsfreies drucken mit ABS ist damit jedenfalls möglich.
Die Montage war problemlos.
